The Special Collections and Archives division includes rare books, university archives, manuscripts and personal papers, political papers, and business records. Collections range from ostraka, cuneiform tablets, papyri, illuminated manuscripts, and incunabula to modern artist books and literary manuscripts. The primary areas of collection strengths include Napoleon and the French Revolution, poetry, papers of Florida political figures, Southern business history, and the history of Florida. Major collections include the Claude Pepper Library, the Paul A.M. Dirac Papers, and the Lois Lenski Papers.
