Letter from G. A. Trenholm, Confederate Secretary of the Treasury, to John Scott, Produce Loan Agent in Mobile, Ala., instructing him to deliver an order of 25,000 pounds of cotton to Confederate Secretary of State Judah P. Benjamin. Benjamin notes on the second page that the cotton should be delivered to Duncan Farrar Kenner (January 3, 1865).
