Letter from Robert C. Caldwell to his wife Mag Caldwell. Robert is serving as a private in Company C, 10th Battalion, North Carolina Heavy Artillery near Wilmington, N.C. He asks Mag to send him a box of food by way of a soldier who can pick the box up at Harrisburg Depot and bring it to him. He also mentions he has heard from his brother Samuel Caldwell.
