Letter from Confederate Army Private Amzi Harris to "brother and sister" Robert and Mag Caldwell. Harris was serving in Company C, 9th Mississippi Volunteer Regiment, at Camp Esau, Florida, near Pensacola. He discusses his health and his efforts to hear from another relative serving in the war.
