Eatonton, 1860-1864. Doctor Nathaniel Edward Walker, a physician who served in the 44th Georgia Regiment of the Confederacy. He was the only doctor to dress a wound of General Robert E. Lee.
2003/07/15: Doctor Nathaniel Sadler Walker of Putnam County is said to be the only doctor to dress General Robert E. Lee's wound (see put079).
