This collection consists of two letters written by Edmund Fish's mother, on August 10th and 21st, 1862, from Partridge Island to her son in Bellevue Hospital, New York. She writes about a local "boy" who was "taken prisoner at Culpepper in the last battle between Pope and Jackson."
